The Dallas Cowboys have a huge hole on their offensive line after nine-time All-Pro Zack Martin announced his retirement. While this is a big blow for the Cowboys, the good news is that there are many solid offensive line prospects in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Take a look at which 2025 NFL Draft prospects we think could be the replacement for the former No. 16 overall pick out of Notre Dame.

Potential Zack Martin Replacements in the 2025 NFL Draft
The Cowboys currently hold the 12th overall pick in this year’s draft, so here are the top five players they can take with that pick to replace Martin.
It’s important to note that while some of the following players played tackle in college, a lot of them project better at the guard position at the next level.
1) Will Campbell, LSU Tigers
Will Campbell is the best offensive line prospect in this draft, and I think there’s a solid gap between him and the guys below him. While Campbell probably won’t be available at No. 12, no one ever really knows how the draft night is going to go.
Campbell is technically sound and has elite play strength paired with great athleticism. He can play in any scheme and is fantastic against both the run and pass.
While Campbell has a tackle frame, standing at 6’6″ and weighing 324 pounds, he only has 32.5-inch arms, which would be among the shortest in the NFL. For that reason, he could easily move to guard and be a fantastic Martin replacement for the Cowboys.
2) Kelvin Banks, Texas Longhorns
Kelvin Banks was a fantastic player throughout his college career with the Longhorns. Banks started 42 games at left tackle during his time in college, but many scouts think that he would be a better guard in the NFL.

Banks has a good frame standing at 6’4″ and weighing 324 pounds. He’s a great pass blocker who possesses elite play strength and great anchor ability. Banks is a good athlete as well and consistently shows good bend. The former Longhorn staying home in Texas would be a major help in Dallas’ mission to replace Martin.
3) Armand Membou, Missouri Tigers
Armand Membou is one of the most versatile offensive linemen in this draft class. He played and started games both guard and tackle throughout his time at Missouri and is truthfully good enough to play both in the NFL.
Membou has a great base and frame standing at 6’3″ and weighing 325 pounds. While his frame is good, Membou is on the shorter end for NFL tackles and thus would potentially be a better fit at guard. He can play in both a zone or gap scheme making him even more valuable. If he’s available at No. 12, it’d be the perfect pick for the Cowboys.
4) Tyler Booker, Alabama Crimson Tide
Tyler Booker is the first player on this list who is a true offensive guard, and he is far and away the best interior offensive line prospect in the NFL. Booker was the most solid offensive lineman in the country during his time at Alabama and rarely made mistakes in his 27 starts.
Booker isn’t as athletic or as strong as some of the guys above him on this list, which limits his ceiling, but he may have the highest floor in this draft class. What you see on tape is what you’re going to get with Booker, and that sort of consistency is what Martin provided to the Cowboys for the last 11 seasons.
5) Donovan Jackson, Ohio State Buckeyes
Donovan Jackson is someone who has quickly risen up draft boards after his senior year at Ohio State.
Jackson played his entire career at guard with the Buckeyes, before having to switch to tackle after Josh Simmons went down in the middle of the 2024 season. While he balled at tackle, I still think he’s going to be a guard at the NFL level.

Jackson stands at 6’4″ and weighs 320 pounds, which is pretty solid guard size in the NFL. While he isn’t as technically sound as the guys above him on this list, he’s a great athlete with great feet and strength.
If the Cowboys are willing to develop a guy like Jackson, he could turn into a solid replacement for Martin.
