Fans across the country will also have the opportunity to watch the next generation of football talent be selected by NFL teams, with the future of NFL franchises being shaped over the three-day event. When will the 2025 NFL Draft take place?
What Are the Dates of the 2025 NFL Draft?
The 2025 NFL Draft will be held from April 24 to 26, 2025, in Green Bay, Wisconsin. It will be broadcast live on ESPN and NFL Network from Lambeau Field.
The event kicks off on April 24 at 8:00 p.m. ET with the first round. NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell will take the stage, greeted by the familiar chorus of boos, where he will officially open the 2025 NFL Draft and put the Tennessee Titans on the clock, marking the start of the event as the team makes the first overall selection.
Before the draft begins, attending fans can enjoy a full day of activities and experiences while TV coverage will ramp up in anticipation of the first selection.
In the first round, each NFL team is allotted 10 minutes to make its pick. This extended timeframe allows teams to deliberate and make trades if necessary.
If every team uses its entire 10 minutes, the first round could stretch over five hours. However, it’s common for teams to speed up their picks as they near the end of the round.
