Day was seen wearing a checkered red suit jacket alongside a white dress shirt and a bright red tie. In response to this photo, DNP Sports compared Day’s outfit to someone who was in charge of and ran a bowling alley.

“Ryan Day dresses like he manages a bowling alley,” the popular sports media group stated.

This led one individual to give their own assessment of the look, one that they believed more resembled the outfit of a car salesman.

    “Used car salesman,” they said.

Ohio State Buckeyes National Championship Preview

Despite the now-trending outfit choice, Day has been instrumental in the Buckeyes’ success this season. Though there were points where he was being criticized after some questionable game performances, Day has undoubtedly gotten the best out of his Buckeyes as of late.

Ohio State’s defense has been locked in and is only allowing 12.2 points per game, which ranks top in the nation. Furthermore, their offense is averaging 37.4 points per game, the eighth-most in the country.

However, the finals of the College Football Playoff may be the toughest test for the Buckeyes as they go against a Marcus Freeman-led Fighting Irish side that has been equally as dominant on both sides of the ball.

Notre Dame has the second-best points-against average at 14.3, behind only Ohio State. Meanwhile, the Fighting Irish offense is putting up an average of 38.5 points per game, a value that ranks sixth-best in the nation.
