Current SEC Tiebreaking Scenarios
It was essentially a play-in game for Texas in Week 14, dominating the landscape and hosting College GameDay for their meeting with Texas A&M. Georgia had already punched their ticket by way of the tiebreaking scenarios in Week 13 as the ‘Dawgs awaited their opponent.
When the dust had settled, the final spot in the SEC Championship Game went to Texas, and a rematch was set. Georgia beat Texas, 30-15, in their regular-season matchup earlier this year.
