Not to be confused with the trophy received by the Super Bowl winners each year, the Lombardi Award instead honors the best college football lineman of the year. It has been presented annually since 1970 to the player who best embodies the values and spirit of Vince Lombardi. All of the Lombardi Award winners, listed by year, can be found below.

Between 2017 and 2020, the Rotary Club of Houston, Texas, which presents the Lombardi Award, opted to expand the eligibility criteria to include all positions. However, they rescinded this in 2021. As a result, the players who were Lombardi Award winners from 2017 until 2020 aren’t recognized by the current award committee, with the exception of Zaven Collins.
