Looking to place some bucks on the Bulls? Maybe the Bobcats are the ones to bolster your

bank balance? If you’re going to take advantage of the Buffalo vs. Ohio odds, consider some of the following factors before you part with your hard-earned cash.

Ohio brings a superior overall record and a history of head-to-head success against the Bulls into a game where they’ve favored by a touchdown. The Bobcats haven’t always enjoyed their trip to New York, but they hold a 17-11 advantage over their MAC foe and should return to Athens with a seventh win of the season.

Ohio hasn’t covered the last three games when they’ve been favored — and lost two of them. Furthermore, they’ve only covered twice as a favorite all season. Although Buffalo didn’t cover against Toledo last week, they’ve covered both times they’ve been a single-digit underdog this season. Our Ohio vs. Buffalo predictions suggest a potential push.

Rounding out the Buffalo vs. Ohio odds, don’t expect a high-scoring affair on Tuesday night. We’re certainly not anticipating a repeat of the 69-point matchup from a year ago. The Bobcats have only gone over the points line twice all season, and the last four Bulls’ games have come under the line. A mediocre 44.5 points might be too much to ask.

Buffalo Depth Chart | Ohio Depth Chart

There are there college football games on Tuesday to compile your DFS team from in Week 10. If you’re new to DFS, Fanduel Superflex contests require you to select a quarterback, two running backs, three wide receivers, and a Superflex that can be any of the above. Or you can also select a tight end for the Superflex spot.

With two offenses that haven’t lived up to their potential in the 2023 college football season, your Buffalo vs. Ohio picks for DFS lineups and fantasy teams are likely to be limited. Kurtis Rourke has been the higher-scoring QB of the two starters for fantasy purposes with 127.74 points. However, it’s a difficult matchup on Tuesday against a turnover-hungry Buffalo defense.

At the running back position, Buffalo’s Ron Cook is coming off the back of his best game of the season. He didn’t score a touchdown against Toledo but hasn’t gone two consecutive games without a score since the opening two games of the year. However, Ohio’s Sieh Bangura might be the play to make here, as we’ll explain in our Buffalo vs. Ohio prediction.

Although the Buffalo pass defense has flown to the football and forced turnovers for fun, they’ve also given up the second-most passing touchdowns in the MAC this year. The Bobcats are at their best when they force-feed Sam Wiglusz, and he has the potential to be the highest-scoring WR in this game.

    Prediction for Buffalo vs. Ohio

Okay, so we’ve furnished you with the Buffalo vs. Ohio odds and some DFS picks. Now, it’s time to close this thing out with our prediction. Can the Bulls pull off an upset and put themselves in position to pressure Miami (OH) in the MAC East? Or will it be the Bobcats who emerge victorious as they try to return to the MAC Championship Game for the second successive season?

Tim Albin’s team has struggled in recent weeks, losing to Miami (OH) and Northern Illinois while only barely beating Western Michigan. The offense that dominated the conference a year ago has been sluggish in 2023, despite the return of several key playmakers like Rourke, Wiglusz, and Bangura. The Bobcats are averaging 10 fewer points per game than last season.

MORE: Northern Illinois vs. Ball State Prediction

Buffalo has had a similar downturn in offensive fortunes, averaging just 24.2 points per game through the nine games of the 2023 season. Quarterback Cole Snyder has the arm talent and pocket manipulation ability to conjure up magic on a down-to-down basis, but he’s struggled to execute so far and is currently only averaging 5.4 yards per pass attempt.

The Bulls QB has a difficult matchup against a thriving Ohio defense that ranks eighth in the nation, allowing just 15.7 points per game. The Bobcats have allowed the second-fewest passing touchdowns in the MAC, while they’re one of just four teams in the conference that has secured double-digit interceptions. Leading tackler Bryce Houston has two of the Ohio interceptions.

Buffalo is another of the four teams to have secured double-digit interceptions this season, with Devin Grant accounting for five of them — two of which he returned for touchdowns. However, they’ve also allowed the second-highest completion percentage to opposition quarterbacks in the MAC, and have allowed 17 passing touchdowns.

Furthermore, the Bulls’ rush defense has surrendered 13 rushing touchdowns while giving up 5.10 yards per carry — the worst in the MAC. An incredible 89.66% of opponent red zone attempts result in a score against Buffalo, and that combination of factors could end up being their downfall on Tuesday night. Watch for running back Bangura to have a big night as the Bobcats escape with the win.

    Prediction: Buffalo 17, Ohio 24
