How old is Carson Beck, the quarterback who’s broken out for the Georgia Bulldogs in 2023? Beck had large shoes to fill after Stetson Bennett left for the NFL in the offseason. But so far, he hasn’t missed a beat in filling them.
How Old is Carson Beck? What is the Georgia QB’s Age?
As of this writing, Carson Beck is 20 years old. However, he’ll soon turn 21 years old. He was born on November 19, 2002.
If Beck declares for the 2024 NFL Draft after his redshirt junior season, he’ll be 21 years old to start his rookie season and will turn 22 years old midway through his rookie campaign.
Beck’s age is a stark contrast to his predecessor, Stetson Bennett. Bennett was 25 years old for most of the 2022 campaign and turned 26 years old in October as an NFL rookie with the Los Angeles Rams.
Both in terms of age and experience level, Beck is relatively young for a fourth-year player. He was a four-star recruit and a consensus top 250 national talent in the 2020 recruiting class, who had offers from a host of Power Five programs coming out of high school.

This is Beck’s first year as a starting QB for the Bulldogs.
In 2021 and 2022, he served as a primary backup for Bennett, who led Georgia to back-to-back National Championship titles.
Carson Beck Excelling for Georgia Bulldogs in 2023
Kirby Smart and the Bulldogs pinned their hopes for a three-peat on Beck’s QB play in 2023. And so far, Beck has delivered solid performances in the first eight games.
In Beck’s time as the starting QB in Athens, the Bulldogs are 8-0. Beck, meanwhile, has completed 192 of 263 attempts (73%) for 2,462 yards, 14 touchdowns, and four interceptions — passing for 9.4 yards per attempt.
Beck’s performance has not only separated him as one of the best passers in the SEC behind LSU’s Jayden Daniels, but also a legitimate 2024 NFL Draft prospect. In recent weeks, he’s started to field early-round consideration among evaluators, who laud his arm talent and flashes of situational ball placement.
