Deion Sanders’ relationship with his kids is a unique one, while most parents run from the question “who’s your favorite”, Coach Prime enjoys the healthy competition between his kids.
Recently, Deion put his sons, Shedeur, Shilo, and Deion Sanders Jr., through a fun competition where they had to sell 250 KFC orders; whoever sells them the fastest wins the challenge.
All three of them did the challenge in their respective cities. Shilo Sanders went to an outlet in Tampa and started grinding for the day.
As he continued working at KFC as an employee, he realised that one of the employees had the same name as Deion’s mom, Connie Knight. He then requested the manager to let her go home and even paid her $250 for the same.
“Auntie, I said, you can go home today. Can she go home today? Let me, can I do What she do? I’ll pay for Miss Connie to go home today, please. I’ll send it right now. Miss Connie, I’m trying to get you home early. Hey, how much for Miss Connie to go home early, you gotta actually go home though. Yeah, home. There you go. You can go home do all this stuff, you know I’m saying, enjoy the rest of your day. Okay, thank you because my dad, his mom, name was Connie Knight. Auntie’s name is Connie Knight, and my dad always say he want his mom to work no more. Her name is Connie Knight so today you’re not gonna work no more.” Shilo said. (17:00)
Deion Sanders Promises To Go See Shilo Sanders in Tampa
Deion Sanders spent the last two years at Colorado being both coach and father to his sons, Shedeur and Shilo.
Now that both of the ex-Colorado stars are out of Boulder, fulfilling their lifelong NFL dreams, Deion can’t wait to get on a plane and see his kid.
In one of the YouTube videos on Shilo’s channel, Deion said on a phone call:
“I’m going to try my best to run a plane and come down and see you, then go see Shedeur, then go to work,” Deion Sanders said. “Send me a schedule of the time of practice.”
Shilo Sanders went undrafted in the 2025 NFL Draft and later signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as a free agent.
