Deion Sanders’ relationship with his kids is one of a kind, while most parents avoid revealing their “favorites”, the Colorado head coach, who has a net worth of $60M (according to Celebrity Net Worth) likes to keep his kids on their toes as he comes up with “rankings” every once in a while.
As Coach Prime recovers from an unspecified illness for which he took a few weeks off from work, his youngest daughter, who claims to be the No.1 kid, took him out for a thrilling run.
In a recent video posted by Deion, Shelomi introduces herself as his favorite child, and talked about how the father-daughter duo completed a 1.3-mile run, interrupting which Deion said, Shelomi ran 1.3 miles, as he tried to keep up with her.
Shelomi then defended dad and said he did good and even shared that he’s getting kind of fast, followed by a heartwarming side hug as Deion said he’s proud of her.
Deion Sanders shared that they’re getting better, and also got a “good old dad” tag from Shelomi.
“1.3 Miles done and in the books for this morning. It’s so much easier when u have someone with u to push u and challenge u. That’s what we did for each other! God is using u babygirl @shelomisanders ! #Dad/CoachPrime #Kidsrankings today and the Truth will set them free. Be honest withcho kids,” Deion wrote in the caption.

Deion Sanders’ Daughter Shelomi Opens Up About Health Issues
Coach Prime’s youngest daughter Shelomi is his only daughter that took his athletic genes. She plays basketball at the collegiate level at Alabama A&M, after spending some time in Boulder at the University of Colorado.
Shelomi was diagnosed with diabetes when she was a 13-year-old child and still takes appropriate measures to maintain the illness. She took out the time to share the story behind her Type 1 diabetes diagnosis in a recent Instagram post.
“Basketball has always been my passion,” Shelomi said. “But when I was 13, I faced an unexpected problem. Something just didn’t add up. It didn’t feel right. I started feeling really thirsty, dropping a lot of weight and just being tired all the time.”
“Short story, I ended up in the hospital… And that is the day I found out I had type 1 diabetes. I’m not gonna lie. At first, I hated it. I was ashamed and embarrassed. I didn’t want anyone to see my devices. But now, I see differently. I learned that diabetes does not define me. It’s just a part of my story,” she added.
