WATCH: Days After Tha Carter VI Shoutout, Lil Wayne Visits Deion Sanders with a Companion Amid Health Uncertainty

Deion Sanders continues to recover from an unknown health issue that kept him out of Boulder, Colorado, for most of June. While Coach Prime hasn’t revealed the exact problem, frequent updates on his general progress have been made through his social media handles and those of his eldest son, Deion Sanders Jr., all of which say that Coach Prime is on the path to a sound recovery.

On Wednesday, the Colorado Buffaloes coach received a visit amid his recovery. Rappers Lil Wayne and Lil Twist offered their support to Deion Sanders with a personal visit to the Sanders estate in Canton, Texas. Deion Sanders Jr. shared a video on his social media.

It does seem that Deion Sanders is at least well enough to go out of his Texas ranch to get food. His Instagram post from Thursday, Jul 3, shows him visiting his favorite restaurant in town:

“Ain’t no way I can miss one of my favorite restaurants @downhomecanton ! The food is great the service is better and if u want Country Cooking this is it. The Desserts are so darn good. Can’t wait to Take @deionsandersjr to 1st Monday.” Wrote Prime on the caption

Deion Sanders’ absence during these key months of the recruitment game has worried the Buffaloes fans. They are afraid his absence might hurt the recruitment of the class of 2026, especially now that some of the best players of the program in the last two seasons have left for the NFL.
