Colorado Buffaloes head coach Deion Sanders has been dealing with health issues in recent weeks. Notably, he was forced to miss the Buffaloes’ annual summer football camps in early June because of an unspecified health issue. He was forced to go to Texas to deal with the problem and did not return to Colorado until later in June.
Since Coach Prime returned to Colorado, many people in the football world have dropped by his property to check in on him. On Tuesday, former NFL star Adam Jones posted a clip on his Instagram account where he talked about visiting Deion Sanders. He spoke about how Sanders, who is worth $60 million, has a huge property with no neighbors around.
“I had a chance to go see Deion,” Jones said. “He’s doing really good. Hey bro, the property that Deion has, I think it’s 200 and some acres. Oh my god. Like, I’m talking about no neighbors. I caught some big a** bass bro.”

Sanders has dealt with many health issues in recent years. Before this incident, Sanders was forced to have two of his toes in his left foot amputated in 2022 because of blood clot issues. In 2023, he had surgery on both of his legs to relieve clots. This forced him to miss Pac-12 media day. Sanders has not specified whether the health issues he is currently dealing with are related to his previous blood clot problems.
Deion Sanders Will Try To Help the Colorado Buffaloes Grow While Dealing With Health Problems
While Deion Sanders is dealing with his health, he is still focused on his Colorado Buffaloes next season. Since arriving in Colorado two years ago, Coach Prime has done an excellent job of building the program. He has turned the program around from one of the worst in college football to a popular destination for recruits.
However, things could be more challenging on the field this coming season. The team was forced to watch as its two biggest stars, CB/WR Travis Hunter and QB Shedeur Sanders, left the team for the NFL. As a result, they will need to adapt to playing without them next year.
Without those two players, the Buffaloes could take a step back in the Big 12. However, with Coach Prime at the helm, there is confidence in Colorado that the Buffaloes are set up to succeed for years to come, regardless of the short-term outlook.
