Former Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh is widely regarded as one of the best football coaches in the world. He had an incredible tenure with the Michigan Wolverines that ended with a national championship in 2023. He then took a job with the Los Angeles Chargers in the NFL, where he remains to this day.
Harbaugh has had plenty of success on the football field, but he has also built a family. He has been married two times, having seven children across both marriages. In his first marriage to Miah Harbaugh, he had two sons and a daughter. On Friday, his daughter from that marriage, Grace Harbaugh, posted an image on her Instagram story from her relaxing trip to Hawaii.
In the image, Harbaugh is wearing a stylish blue swimsuit while standing on dark rocks while stretching and looking out at the blue water. There is also a view of the mountains in the distance.
Grace Harbaugh is intimately familiar with the water. She attended the University of Michigan, and during her time there, she was a member of the women’s water polo team. Additionally, she was a swimmer all her life and was only 14 when she began playing water polo, as per her school bio.

Jim Harbaugh has had plenty of success on the football field, but nothing compares to the success in his personal life. Harbaugh has raised seven children from two marriages. Harbaugh was first married in 1996 to Miah Harbaugh. Together, the couple had three children, Jay, James and Grace.

Jay is the most famous of Harbaugh’s children. He became a football coach like his father. He started his career as a student assistant at Oregon State in 2009. He has since become a coach in the NFL and currently holds the position of special teams coordinator for the Seattle Seahawks.
Harbaugh and Miah Burke got divorced in 2006. He then got married again in 2008 to Sarah Harbaugh, with whom he is still with to this day. The couple has four children, including two daughters, Addison and Katherine, and two sons, Jack and John.
In 2017, Jim Harbaugh spoke with GQ about raising his many children and how he did not force sports onto them. He also spoke about treating them like his players.
“I’m going to coach them like I do my own players,” Harbaugh said. “Not treat my kids any different than my own players, and not treat my players any different than my own kids.”
