Texas Longhorns quarterback Arch Manning and LSU Tigers quarterback Garrett Nussmeier featured in the latest Raising Cane’s commercial alongside Archie Manning and his son Cooper Manning.
The commercial sees Arch and Nussmeier seated in the car driven by Archie Manning as they enter the driveway of Raising Cane’s, where Cooper acts like an employee of Raising Cane’s.
Both quarterbacks are currently at the Manning Passing Academy working as counselors. In the commercial, Arch Manning says that staying there is becoming overwhelming for him, being surrounded by the greats of the game, who are also his family. The Longhorns quarterback was referring to his Super Bowl-winning quarterback uncles, Peyton and Eli Manning.
“That’s a lot of family time at the Manning Passing Academy,” Arch said.
“Were Peyton and Eli giving you too much advice?” Archie asks.
“I wish. Dad is killing me. He will not leave me alone,” Arch replies, referencing his father, Cooper Manning.
Further ahead in the commercial, Garrett Nussmeier said he understands the position Arch Manning is in, but said he’s in an even tougher position with respect to his dad.
“Tell me about it. At least your dad didn’t move to Louisiana and start calling plays,” Nussmeier said.
“At least your dad knows what he’s talking about,” Arch added.
Interrupting both the young dudes was Archie Manning, who added to the conversation.
“Geez, I don’t know who’s more high-maintenance—quarterbacks or their dads,” Arch said. “Hey, I’m just a grandfather.”
SEC quarterbacks Garrett Nussmeier and Arch Manning have been the talk of the town this week while at the Manning Passing Academy.

Cooper Manning Takes a Playful Jab at Garrett Nussmeier With Reference To His Father
The commercial doesn’t stop at Archie Manning’s comments. When they entered the driveway of Raising Cane’s, Cooper Manning, as an employee of the food store, asked for the order.
“Hey guys. Funny seeing you here. Welcome to Cane’s. What can I get you?” Cooper said.
First, both Arch Manning and Archie Manning gave their orders. The grandfather received his usual Caniac with extra sauce as a courtesy from his son, while the Longhorns quarterback had a Box Combo with a sweet tea.
Finally, when it came for Nussmeier’s turn to order, Cooper took a playful shot at him, saying:
“Your dad already called in your order. He doesn’t trust your decision-making.”
Nussmeier’s dad, Doug, is currently the offensive coordinator of the New Orleans Saints. He was the quarterbacks coach for the Philadelphia Eagles, who won Super Bowl LIX last season.
