‘Who The F**K Is That?’– Fans Confused Over Lane Kiffin’s EA Sports CFB 26 Look as Ole Miss Drops First Glimpse

The first glimpse of Lane Kiffin from EA Sports College Football 26 game came out and fans are sure that the one in the game doesn’t look anywhere similar to the Ole Miss Rebels head coach.

After Ole Miss Football’s official X (formerly Twitter) account dropped a sneak peek of head coach Lane Kiffin’s digital avatar in College Football 26, fans were left confused seeing Kiffin’s unmatching avatar. The video showed Kiffin as part of the “Program Builder Archetype.”

Fans had an amusing reaction to the above clip.

“Who the F**K is that??? That is NOT Lane Kiffin,” wrote one stunned fan.

    Others took it even further:

“That looks like Robert Downey Jr. I think he was the inspiration for this video,” one fan commented.

“Nice try that’s Coach Marty from Blue Mountain State,” another joked.

“Why does Kiffin in this game look like the roach villain from Men in Black inhabited Kiffin’s body?” one fan joked, referencing Vincent D’Onofrio’s famously grotesque character.

“Doesn’t look like Lane lol 😂 more like his pops,” said another.

“That doesn’t look like Lane at ALL 😭” added a longtime fan Darrell Leland.

Lane Kiffin in EA Sports College Football 26 as “Program Builder

For the upcoming CFB 26 game, which is set to drop on July 10, EA Sports has introduced real college football coaches. Lane Kiffin appears as part of the “Program Builder” archetype in Dynasty Mode. This feature lets players either create their own coach or step into the shoes of a sideline leader.

In the game, you can select him as your coach from the offered 300+ real-world coaches. Each one of them comes with authentic playbooks, tendencies and archetypes, according to EA.com. Moreover, Dynasty Mode now offers a level cap of 100 and improved staff/coordinator dynamics.

Kiffin’s getup isn’t the only avatar much discussed over the internet. The avatar of Texas Longhorns coach Steve Sarkisian has also came up for hilarious reasons. The coach himself has commented on his look. He wrote:

    “Polo with No Shades??”

According to The Athletic, several coaches see this game as a medium to recruit talent. Kiffin reportedly hasn’t taken up any money to be in the game. While there may be 300+ coaches on offer, not every name is on that game, including North Carolina Tar Heels coach Bill Belichick and Colorado Buffaloes coach Deion Sanders.
