There is some drama on the recruiting trail in the SEC, and it involves a five-star wide receiver by the name of Tristen Keys.
Despite already committing to play for head coach Brian Kelly and LSU, Keys has a scheduled visit with a College Football Playoff-hungry team from the ACC.

Tristen Keys Has Interest From Miami, Amongst Other Schools
According to On3’s Steve Wiltfong, Keys has scheduled a visit with the Miami Hurricanes after already committing to play for LSU.
He also has plenty of interest from other SEC teams such as Alabama, Tennessee, Auburn, and Texas A&M.
While playing for Hattiesburg High School last season, he caught 40 passes for 839 yards and 12 touchdowns.
It would be imposing for the Hurricanes if they were able to flip the five-star in their favor.
His explosiveness and productive ability could give head coach Mario Cristobal a big-time playmaker on the outside for years to come.

It will also be interesting to see if Keys wants to visit any other schools that are interested in him.
Could you imagine if a rival school like Alabama were able to lure the five-star recruit to Tuscaloosa?
It would be one of the bigger moves in recent memory, especially if Keys goes on to become a future college football star.
Miami Has a Chance to Catch Fire Under Mario Cristobal
The Hurricanes won 10 games last year for just the second time in the previous 21 seasons.
With Cam Ward headed to play for the Tennessee Titans, that opened up the door for former Georgia Bulldogs quarterback Carson Beck to join Miami this offseason via the transfer portal.
Considering that the ACC is a weaker conference than the Big Ten and the SEC, Miami is set up to contend for first place in that conference.
While Beck is set to be the team’s star this year, Keys could be the star in future years if Cristobal can convince him to come to Miami.

Talent, especially on the offensive side of the ball, could fill the foundation of the Hurricanes’ program.
On the flip side, the LSU Tigers cannot afford to lose out on Keys if they hope to continue their trend of churning out elite-level NFL wide receivers.
Many eyes will be on this situation in the coming months to see where Keys ultimately decides to end up.
