6′10″ 2026 WR Mike Broxton Goes Viral With Catch, but Fans Are Skeptical

There are two types of wide receivers in the game of football: smaller ones who are quicker and shiftier, while those who are between 6’2″ and 6’5″ are larger receivers who use their size to their advantage.

In this mix, a 2026 6’10” multi-sport athlete named Mike Broxton is turning heads because of his massive height and catch radius. His elite athleticism, combined with his size, has already made him a lively monster on the field, but some critics are tearing him down.

2026 WR Mike Broxton’s Insane Size Has Fans Looking For More

Mike Broxton, a 6’10” wide receiver from Gibbs High School in Florida, is turning heads across the football world.

Recently, a video shared by @FBGreatMoments on Twitter went viral. It shows Mike Broxton catching a pass against defenders. In the end, he makes them look completely helpless. The caption says it all, “Mike Broxton looks like a real-life cheat code.”

Watching the clip, it’s easy to see why many believe he could change the game in college football. His ability to catch passes over defenders is truly special.

Still, not everyone is sold. Some critics remain skeptical. They argue that one viral video doesn’t prove he’s the real deal. One fan wrote, “Not impressed.” Another questioned, “Is he fast? Serious question.” Someone else commented, “Low IQ physics problem.”

Like football fans do, while he seemingly hasn’t committed yet, some took matters into their own hands, predicting which school he might commit to.

“Mike Broxton Gonna go to Ohio State,” one hopeful fan predicted.

“6’10” still having to push off and not being able to come down in bounds is wild. 🤷🏽‍♂️” A user simply added, “Out of bounds.”

It is rare to see someone of his size on a football field, especially at the high school level. It’s not just eye-catching; it’s game-changing. Many believe his rare build could carry him to success at the next level.

His coach, Herbans Paul, couldn’t hold back his praise. Broxton already has a Division I offer from Sacramento State, and Paul is completely sold on his talent. “What’s impressive is he’s already a football player, in my opinion,” he said. “He’s out there not dropping passes. He’s a natural. I’m lost for words when I watch him.”

That praise isn’t an exaggeration. Broxton’s height and wingspan make him almost impossible to defend in jump-ball situations. Some fans have even compared him to NBA star Victor Wembanyama and NFL standout Lamar Jackson. His athleticism at that size is simply rare.

Since Mike Broxton is still in high school, we can’t say too much about his future yet. However, according to the viral video, he has the most epic advantage that many wide receivers in college football are currently missing.
