That means he’d need 18 sacks to break the record, which is a difficult feat, but he did rack up 14 one year at UTSA, so it’s not out of the question.
Funnily enough, the player who could break this record in 2025 is also named Khalil and also plays for the University of Buffalo. Khalil Murdock has 11 forced fumbles in his career, and with just six more in 2025, the record could be his.
The college football player who could break Brett Baer’s impressive 90% career field goal percentage in 2025 is Michigan Wolverine Dominic Zvada. Zvada currently has a career percentage of 88.7%, so with a good 2025 season, there’s no doubt that the record could be his.
This is another record that isn’t super likely to be broken in 2025, but it shouldn’t be ruled out. Miami Hurricane Bert Auburn is the kicker who is nearest to the record with 66 career field goals made, meaning he’d need 34 in 2025 to make this happen. In 2023, with the Texas Longhorns, Auburn attempted 36 kicks, so this record shouldn’t be ruled out.
