Later videos featured Sanders partying with rapper Loe Shimmy, making a draft-night spectacle feel more like a Grammy afterparty than a traditional NFL affair. Kleiman added, “Sanders’ level of stardom is something we’ve never seen for a rookie.”
Reactions went either way. While several fans gushed about the confidence and attitude with which Sanders was performing, others remarked he’d be better off enjoying the nightlife than absorbing the Browns’ playbook.
