NFL Draft Landing Spots for Jimmy Horn Jr.

Horn was named First-team All-SEC as a return specialist in 2022. He spent four years in college and recorded 162 receptions for 1,967 yards and 11 TDs. The 22-year-old is highly rated for his speed and impressive ability to challenge any defense. However, his production dropped from 2022 to 2023, which could put off some teams interested in him.

The 5-foot-8, 174-pound receiver recorded fewer catches, yards, and touchdowns compared to the previous season, as he competed for touches with Travis Hunter. Horn will hope to use his speed against some of the NFL’s best defensive backs. Additionally, his great hands and ability to catch in traffic make him a dangerous threat despite his size.

    1. Los Angeles Chargers

Horn’s crafty route-running skills and play speed would allow him to thrive in the Los Angeles Chargers’ offense. With Joshua Palmer and Quentin Johnston on the roster, Horn Jr. could add depth and competition to the receiving corps, potentially becoming a valuable asset in certain situations.

    2. New Orleans Saints

Horn could be a potential fit for the New Orleans Saints’ receiving corps, particularly if they’re looking to add a dynamic playmaker to their lineup. Horn Jr. could provide a fresh perspective and potentially become a key contributor in the passing game along with Chris Olave and Rashid Shaheed.

    3. Indianapolis Colts

The Colts could target Horn Jr. as a potential contributor to their receiving corps. The team is looking to add speed and agility to their lineup, and Horn Jr. could provide a complementary presence for Michael Pittman Jr. and Alec Pierce. However, the 22-year-old offers a different skill set and could become a reliable slot receiver for the team.

    4. Jacksonville Jaguars

Jacksonville Jaguars are in need of another wide receiver weapon to add to their roster. Besides Brian Thomas Jr., the Jaguars’ other wideouts haven’t performed nearly as well as expected. Horn could be the perfect fit for the Jaguars’ offense and compete for starting reps right away.

    5. Kansas City Chiefs

Kansas City Chiefs have lost Mecole Hardman in free agency and they would be eager to land a player in a similar mold in Jimmy Horn Jr. Just like Hardman, Horn wins with his speed and ability to simply glide by defenses.
