Mason Taylor’s Net Worth
In August 2023, Taylor signed an NIL deal with Sunshine Quality Solutions, a John Deere dealer with 17 locations in southern Louisiana and Mississippi. Other LSU players with an endorsement deal with the company included linebacker Harold Perkins and offensive linemen Will Campbell and Emery Jones.
“I’m excited to partner with Sunshine,” Taylor said in a statement. “It’s a blessing to partner with such a reputable company and utilize my Name, Image, and Likeness for a fun and impactful campaign. We took a concept that can relate to, clearing a path to victory, and put a little twist on it.”
Taylor also had endorsement deals with Gordon McKernan Injury Attorneys and Raising Cane’s, a fast-food chicken finger chain.
Taylor’s Game
NFL.com analyst Lance Zielein compares Taylor to Philadelphia Eagles TE Dallas Goedert.
“Ascending tight end with plus catch talent and Hall of Fame bloodlines,” Zierlein said. “With just three seasons under Taylor’s belt, more growth is expected in both his game and frame.
“He’s a smooth athlete with adequate acceleration and the tools to become a more effective route runner in time. He feels defenders around him and catches with sudden hands and elevated focus when needed.
“He can handle blocking duties on the move or in space, but in-line action will be a challenge for him. His game needs polish, but Taylor has the ability to become a higher-volume target for a team looking to upgrade at the ‘F’ tight end spot.”
Yahoo Sports’ Charles McDonald believes Taylor looks the part.
“Taylor might not be as flashy or explosive as Tyler Warren and Colston Loveland, but he should be a quality starting tight end in the NFL sooner rather than later,” McDonald wrote.
Taylor’s father, Jason, is a Pro Football Hall of Famer. His uncle is Zach Thomas, a 13-year NFL professional at linebacker.
