As the 2025 NFL Draft has arrived, it’s expected that numerous offensive prospects have risen in the draft class compared to the general consensus. 2025 NFL Draft Risers: Offensive Playmakers Generating Buzz
Here’s a look at five offensive players who could be selected higher than expected.
1) Omarion Hampton, RB, North Carolina
Omarion Hampton has emerged as a top running back prospect for the 2025 NFL Draft. Hampton, who stands 6’0″ and weighs 221 pounds, demonstrated his athleticism at the NFL combine by running a 4.46-second 40-yard dash, recording a 38-inch vertical jump and a 10-foot-11 broad jump.
His standout 2024 season, which included 2,033 yards from scrimmage, cemented his position as a three-down back with the ability to make a quick impact at the professional level.
2) Grey Zabel, OL, North Dakota State
Grey Zabel’s versatility and athleticism have made him a top offensive line prospect. Zabel’s flexibility is a significant advantage, as he has made 36 starts at all five offensive line positions.
At the NFL combine, he posted a 36.5-inch vertical jump, tied for the third-highest ever by an offensive lineman, and an athleticism score of 89, placing him second among offensive tackle prospects.
Teams like the Cincinnati Bengals and Detroit Lions have expressed interest in him as a potential first-round pick.
3) Charles Grant, OL, William & Mary
Charles Grant has received recognition as a promising offensive tackle prospect from a small program. His agility and mobility make him an excellent candidate for zone-blocking schemes. Grant made 43 college starts and earned first-team All-America honors.
While he may need time to adjust to NFL play, his potential has teams evaluating him in the mid-rounds of the draft.
4) Elijah Arroyo, TE, Miami
Elijah Arroyo’s draft status has surged thanks to impressive performances, particularly in the Senior Bowl. In 2024, he totaled 590 receiving yards and seven touchdowns on just 35 catches, averaging 16.9 yards per reception.
Arroyo’s route-running skills and ability to gain yards after the catch have made him a standout prospect in a talented tight end class.
5) Tre Harris, WR, Ole Miss
Tre Harris has emerged as a top wide receiver prospect in the 2025 NFL Draft. Scouts have taken note of his size, speed and playmaking ability. While exact statistics from Harris’ 2024 season are not available, his performances have positioned him as an early-round pick.
