With less than a month until the start of the new college campaign, watch list season is upon us as the Aeneas Williams Award watch list is unveiled.

With the 2024 college football campaign on our doorstep, another season is already upon us. It’s one that sets the table for the feast we’re about to consume, preparing us for the top players we will witness in action these coming fall Saturdays. That’s right, it’s award watch list season, and on Wednesday this week, the Aeneas Williams Award watch list was released.

Which Players Are on the 2024 Aeneas Williams Award Watch List?

The Aeneas Williams Award has been honoring the best defensive back from Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) since 2022. In addition to recognizing on-field talent, the award gives consideration to athletic ability and capability. Presented by the Chickasaw Nation, the award is named after Southern University walk-on turned Hall of Famer, Aeneas Williams.
