How To Listen to Texas in Week 2: Radio Station Details for the Longhorns Against Michigan

It's a clash of top-10 teams in the Big House. Get live stream options, radio station info, and everything you need to know to catch Texas at Michigan.

Two teams that appeared in the College Football Playoff last season and have their sights set on that same outcome when the 12-team edition takes place this season will meet in an early season clash of historic programs on Saturday.

The No. 3 Texas Longhorns head to Ann Arbor, Mich., to take on the defending national champions, No. 10 Michigan Wolverines, in what will be only the second-ever meeting between the schools. The Longhorns captured a 38-37 victory in the 2005 Rose Bowl.

Here’s how to listen to the game on the radio.

The Longhorns opened the 2024 college football campaign with a dominant 52-0 win over Colorado State while Michigan never did seem in total command, but also never trailed, in their 30-10 season-opening win over Fresno State.

If first impressions are any indication, it appears Michigan’s first-year head coach Sherrone Moore plans to roll out an offense directed by not just one quarterback but two in the form of Davis Warren and Alex Orji.

Moore’s counterpart in this contest, Steve Sarkisian, addressed his preparation for the Wolverines’ two-quarterback system, saying, “There are so many things that systematically they do that are on the quarterback at the line of scrimmage, and I think that [Warren] definitely has got a good head on his shoulders and can make those necessary checks and different things at the line of scrimmage, protection, changes and so on.

“I think it’s critical for us to recognize when [Orji] is in the game, and I think it’s going to be critical for us to recognize when they leave both of them on the field at the same time. We have to be ready for things that maybe they haven’t put on tape yet, and one of which being those two guys on the field together.”

Warren completed 15 of 25 passes for 118 yards with a touchdown and an interception against Fresno State while Orji threw the ball just twice (one completion for three yards) but made an impact with his legs by gaining 32 yards on five carries.

As for the Longhorns, they know the quarterback who will be under center, Heisman Trophy candidate Quinn Ewers. He threw for 260 yards and three touchdowns and completed 20 of 27 attempts in the opener.

He became the seventh Longhorns QB all-time to reach 40 career passing scores. In the process, he also extended his streak of consecutive games with at least one passing touchdown to 14, the longest by a Longhorns QB since Colt McCoy in 2007-09.

The Wolverines have the nation’s longest active win streak (16 games) and have won 23 straight at the Big House, the program’s longest home win streak since a 28-game run in 1969-73 under legendary head coach, Bo Schembechler.

Texas is seeking its second road win over an AP Top-10 opponent in as many seasons. In 2023, the Longhorns defeated No. 3 Alabama in Tuscaloosa, Ala., by a score of 34-24 to mark the program’s first-ever non-conference road win against an AP top-three opponent.
