Weigman was initially listed as questionable on Wednesday’s availability report and kept that status through each subsequent update. If Weigman can’t go, it will be up to backup Marcel Reed to lead the Aggies.
A source has indicated to College Football Network that while the Aggies are optimistic Weigman will play, Reed will get some snaps regardless.

Reed’s greatest asset is his ability to operate a full offense. He excelled in Montgomery Bell’s complex offensive system in high school, running it to perfection. Under the guidance of a coach like Mike Elko, Reed’s strengths could shine if he’s called upon to replace Weigman.
